who we are

Namae Ntumae, FOUNDER & Director, CWays Home

CWays Home is a 501(c)3, a religious non-profit, based in Oregon.

CWays Home is founded on the very ancient belief of ANIMISM, from “Anima” the Latin word for “soul” or “spirit” which comes from the original word “anima” which means vital breath, spirit.

We believe that everything in creation has a spiritual essence; all natural objects, landscapes, animals and plants have a spiritual potency that animates them, and that this essence can be called the soul, an expression of the Divine. This view honors the most common, foundational thread of indigenous peoples’ spiritual perspectives, those who  have lived in harmony with this Earth for millennia. We  celebrates that everything in existence, is an all-encompassing, immanent Divinity and that every part of Creation has its own spiritual potency. All life, including non-human life, all death, all aspects of Nature, all peoples are sacred. Further, we acknowledge that there are spiritual beings that reside in the unseen realms, and that all souls, as a drop of Creation, can exist separately from their physical bodies.

We accept all spiritual and religions beliefs that people practice, whilst not recognizing any distinct, separate or transcendent god or goddess, anthropomorphic or otherwise. We hold the belief that there is an all pervasive spiritual potency and intelligence in all of Life, and that each person can open to the experience of deep reverence for life, a sense of identity with the world around us as a divine wisdom, that the Creator is omnipresent in everything.

Our primary purpose is to reconnect each person to their own original, essential, sacred wisdom (soul) by creating diverse learning environments, ones that engender experiences of spiritual wonder and beauty, leading to a direct experience of unity, of profound love and connection for self, others, the Earth and all Creation.  The organization trains facilitators, and spiritual guides in animistic and altered states practices that assist its practitioners to connect with all forms of spiritual awareness. We also use multifaceted consciousness raising research and experiences that create the sense of belonging, and the desire to be of service for themselves, future generations and our only life support system, this Earth. The foundation of all services to our community are based on experiences of the spiritual potency of all of Creation.

Cways Home believes that, as each person discovers their spiritual essence, as they connect to the spiritual intelligence of all Life, they fall in love with Creation, and will naturally become decent, loving, natural human beings, and will by extension do whatever it takes to care for all of Life.

Namae Ntumae founded CWays Home in 2015 in response to visions she received from Nature and the growing needs of the diverse, nation wide spiritual community.

Namae Ntumae, FOUNDER, CWays Home

Namae has been exploring altered states of consciousness and working with plants, herbs, fungi, shamanic breathwork and experiential spiritually transformative modalities for over 30 years. Namae’s approach to awakening is rooted in safety, presence, spontaneity, adaptation, and love. Her innovative and feminine approach combines ancient spiritual practices, indigenous and mystical lineages with therapeutic counseling, tantric embodiment, artistic expressions, scientific knowledge, neurobiology, biomimicry, and ecology. She has created tools of deep transformation, shamanic ceremonies, and rituals that help people connect, love, and attain awareness in altered states, supporting their integration and to adapt  to subtle and dynamic changes in their lives, to become more whole, and to re-embed themselves in the spiritual potency of Nature.

Namae is also a designer and teacher of a 3-year facilitator training curriculum, Guide of the Heart,  as well as training modules to teach facilitators how to  guide from love, and connect people to the intelligence of Life. She also manages all aspects of the non-profit, the employees and volunteers, retreats and events, the development of the organization’s website and membership program and CWays Home’s 20-acre property in Oregon.

Before CWays Home, Namae was a self-employed Guide of Conscious Ways LLC, with a private practice serving thousands of individuals and groups. She led spiritual adventure tours to Peru, Bolivia, Australia, and other locations in the States, working with indigenous healers, mystics, shamanic practitioners, spiritual guides, and teachers.

Namae graduated from the University of Technology in Sydney, Australia, with a Bachelors of Applied Science in 1980, majoring in Environmental Biology. She created a women’s landscape design company, owned and managed Sunheart Sanctuary, a holistic shamanic breath work center in the Blue Mountains outside Sydney and conducted organizational reviews as a management consultant with the Victorian and Tasmanian State Governments. In 1998, Namae heeded the call to go “walk-about”, traveling first to Hawaii and then around the world to experience and discover what it means to become a citizen of this planet, settling in the States in 2004. She has danced and taught the feminine path of tantra, lived the life of a pantheanic hermit for several years in the forests of Maui, explored the nature of consciousness and played with many artistic expressions.

Namae is deeply devoted to the awakening of Love through direct relationship with the intelligence of Life.

“Freedom, grace and beauty are the natural attributes                     of every animal organism.

Freedom is the absence of inner restraint to the flow of feeling,
grace is the expression of this flow in movement,

while beauty is a manifestation

of  the inner harmony such a flow engenders.”

– Dr Alexander Lowen
